Default Getting parts

I am still trying to find a solution to my problem of my car not wanting to start back up right away. The fuel pump kicks on everytime, and I have replaced the spark plugs, the cap and rotor, the plug wires, and the fuel filter. I am out of ideas if it isn't the solenoid valve. I have been trying to sell this car all summer, but I haven't had anyone take it yet. I want rid of it, but maybe if I put some work in getting this problem fixed, then I can get it inspected and maybe someone will want it. Help please would be greatly appreciated! I love this car, and I don't want to take it to the junk yard at ALL.

Carb or fuel injection?

When it won't start, does the ignition make sparks? The ignition module could be intermittent.

It has a 1.5L fuel injection. I honestly never looked, how would I check this? I am starting to like this forum more and more.

Unplug one of the spark plug wires and put it on a known-good spare plug. Hold the metal shell part of the plug firmly against the engine. Watch for the plug to spark when someone turns the key trying to start.
