RE: HELP ASAP Coolant Temperature Sensor
Unplug the sensor and use a little piece of wire to jumper the two pins in the plug (on the car end). The fan should now start immediately when you turn the key on. If it doesn't, check the relay and fuses. If it does, you need a new sensor (called the coolant temperature SWITCH, not sensor).

RE: HELP ASAP Coolant Temperature Sensor
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the back of the block, it should lead to the thermostat housing which the temp switch is screwed into
This is where it's at on my y7, i think you have a y8, so it should be very similar.

RE: HELP ASAP Coolant Temperature Sensor
Probably the relay is bad, if you're sure the fuse is good (it's one of the ones in the underhood fuse box) and the motor is good, you tested it. The relay is in the fuse box it's what you heard clicking. A bad relay can still click but not make contact.
