Exclamation Hazard lights staying on, HELP!!!

Right, i'm desperate for a solution, i have a 02 3dr Honda Civic and as described above, the hazard lights stay solid amber even with the car switched off, i checked all the fuses and relays and none are blown and the only way to turn off the lights is if i disconnect the battery, no matter what fuse i pull relating to the lights. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Also does anyone know where the grounding point is for the hazard lights? Wondering could it be a bad ground, i checked the connection in the boot but seemed ok. I'd appreciate any help

Are you sure it's the hazard lights versus the parking lights? It could be that the combination switch on the steering column has a short.

I don't think it's the hazard light because when i disconnect it there isn't any difference, and i don't think it's the running lights because this problem comes and goes about 3 times a week and it's always the indicators, they stay on on the dash as well, i.e the arrows stay solid on the dash, thanks for your suggestions though

What happens if you remove under-hood fuse 5 or under-dash fuse 19?

I don't think it's the hazard light because when i disconnect it there isn't any difference
What exactly did you do here?

I agree with andry, check the hazard switch:

Since the indicators for the turn signals are on when you have the problem, I agree with Ron and andry. There something wrong with the hazard light circuit. I would think you have stuck/faulty relay for the hazard lights.
