Help.. Shifter bushing installed.. now "buzzing" sound on shifts
Wondering if someone can shed a light on this.... I installed the Energy Suspension shifter bushing on my 98 DX and now I'm getting a "buzzing" sound shifting to 2nd and 3rd gear. It sounds like a heatshield or something, but I can't pinpoint it. The clutch drives fine, but it does have 87K miles on it. I don't feel anything on the shifter or clutch pedal itself, no vibrations, etc. Just the buzz sound.
I don't remember hearing anything like it with the stock bushings but maybe it just wasn't as obvious before. I do like the stock shifter with the new bushings, I hated the sloppiness with the stock bushings, especially considering the mileage on the car. The metal sleeves on the bushing was even rusted and all that.
