so this has been happening for some time now, when accelerating, the motor will bog and hesitate. I replaced the plugs last summer so im assuming its not that. I just dumped some chevron injector cleaner this past fuel up hoping to catch lightning in a bottle. But if that doesnt work im assuming its one of the fuel filter/pump, wires, distributer, or bad injectors. I dont know if this is a common problem but i have searched around and havent found anything that is exactly my problem. Ive also cleaned the IACV recently, although that wouldnt matter in accelerating. It also seems to happen more when its hot outside but its also sporadic. Sometimes its fine but more often it not, any ideas?

 

So ive driven a bit since putting the chevron in and its being a little better. Still not getting too excited. Im just wondering if there are any other quick checks or possible replacements before looking too far into it

 

I would go with the wires. Fuel problems are usually more apparent at wide open + high rpm because you're using the most fuel then. Misfiring mostly at low rpm and heavy throttle is usually weak sparks.
