High Idle
I own a 1994 Honda Civic with a D16A SOHC VTEC that i recently put in bcuz the old one was blown. now that the new one is in, it idles at 1400 when i start it when its been sitting for a while. if i run it hard a bit, it tends to cool down to its regular 500 rpms. we replaced the TPS sensor today with a brand new one but it still idles high. im thinking its the MAF sensor but im not sure. any suggestions?

RE: High Idle
It can either be the Idle Air Control Valve or the adjustment screw on the throttle body
I would try cleaning the IACV 1st and take it from there
See if this helps at all
