Hi guys....my car (2001 Honda Civic Ex) has been leaking a lot of oil for a while. We have spotted oil leak from a few places, and replaced the Valve Cover seal and the rear camshaft seal. But the car still leaks a lot of oil.

Trying to spot where the leak comes from, we have spotted oil on some areas, but can't figure out where it comes from.

I've attached two pictures. The first picture is the area underneath the EGR Valve. We thought the oil coming from the bolt (I dunno how that bolt is called), but it doesn't. It drains down from somewhere above the bolt.

The second image is the area below the valve cover. As soon as you open the hood, you see that. That whole area has also traces of fresh oil.

Do any of you guys have an idea where the oil is coming from?

I'm thinking rear crank seal, but I just wanna be a little bit more sure before taking it to the mechanic.

 

VTEC solenoid can leak a lot since there is oil under pressure there.
