Hood release problem & Idle Problem

Hood release problem & Idle Problem
On my '94 Ex when I pull the lever to release the hood it releases just fine, but the release will not reset itself. I have to go under the hood and push it back manually so my hood will latch when I close it. Any advice on this? Is there some sort of spring that resets the release? Thanks! Bill
Also another problem on my '93 Si hatch: It will not idle more than about 300 rpm when it's warm. It feels like it's going to shut off when I come to a stop. Is there an adjustment that can be made on the idle and if so, how do I do this? This car also has the same problem with the hood release as my '94.

RE: Hood release problem & Idle Problem
on the first thing maybe a new spring?
2nd check um your O2 sensor and use the search button for irratic idle or weird idle or idle problem. I bet there is alot of things on this subject. use search button before taking my advice though.
