Default how to remove splash guard/shield on honda civic 1996 automatic

hi,

so i've been trying to do some repairs under my car but i noticed this plastic sheet that seems to be bolted to my bumper and runs under the car. I think it is also attached to the front wheel wells. this thing is really annoying and i am having a hard time removing it to work under the car. does anyone know how to remove this thing? how many bolts are holding it up? where are these bolts located?

ok, either no one knows how to do this or it's so easy that you guys are just letting me figure it out for myself. I've felt under the front bumper and around the front wheel wells. i think i've found the bolts. the splash shield is one piece and runs under the bumper and partially up the front wheel wells. I don't know if I've found all the bolts but i'm going to try to take it off later today. this thing really makes it hard to work under your car. if anyone is interested in pics of where the bolts are i'll post them.

i'm sure you can find them yourself tho but it is a pretty messy dirty job.

There are two kinds of fasteners on it, metal bolts which are obvious, and black plastic button things that are kind of a pain. To undo the plastic things use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the plastic screw from the center. Do not press hard on the screwdriver as that will just push the screw back in as you turn it. Once the screw is out, pry around the edge of the button and it will come out.
