When i take off from 1st (w/o) spinning or chirping) theres a lag from when i stop on the pedal (after i'm already rolling, to when the car begins to accelerate) Its a (98 Civic SI) with 190k on it, its taken care of, but i can feel the power loss, and the lag when i stop on it. Could it be just because the engine is getting really old? or would something else cause this (i really noticed it after i lowered the car)
