Default Ignition Question

Hey, took my 91 hatch to my local Honda dealership today, they said that its not that little shift lock thing, but that its probably the ignition itself that is not taking the signal that im in park because some of the pins are bent... They also said fixing it would be $170...

So 2 questions:

1. Sound like it could be accurate? (When I shift into park, it normally clicks and releases the key, but more often than not lately there's no click and the key is stuck in the ignition until I wiggle the shifter a bunch to make it click..)

2. If it is actually the ignition, is it relatively easy to replace myself? $170 for parts and labors sounds a bit high priced...

Thanks
