Miss, Spark plug corrosion, Miss, Blinking Engine light HELP!!
Hey guys,
It all started when my 99 lx (83k miles) started to miss after start up and on acceleration. I checked the spark plug wires the next day and one had corroded pretty badly. I cleaned it up and put it back in the dist cap. Its odd because these wires are only 8 months old (tune up). But, anyways, I took it out for another test run and this time the CE light started to blink and the engine was missing and real boggy and then it went off and would do this simultaneously. I was just wondering what this could mean? I know that the CE light will come on solid for smaller things but that the blinking was bad. Anyhow, I plan on taking it to get it looked at but I figured I would see if anyone could shed some light on some possible causes.
Thanks!!

Blinking CEL lights usually mean that your catalytic converter is in danger of melting(probably from the misfire). But go to autozone and have them pull the code. You most likely have a problem with your ignition since you are sending raw fuel through the cat.
