Your cable on a 94 comes out from the console on the passenger side for the heater door, you will see a cable right next to the console under the dash, very easy to find, I unhooked mine and I operate mine manually. If you pull it, it goes cold, if you push it, it goes hot. That is if the valve doesn't work by it self, try to open the heater door by this method.

Have a question about mine, I had to disconnect it from the inside because the cable was slipping through the car mounted "clasp" to keep the cable from moving when switching from cold to hot or vice versa, how do I keep it from moving, is there some trick to getting it to hold correctly?

if the clasp is not gripping right then with the cable off it try squizing the metal clasp and bending it tighter.... if that fails try afew zip ties and pull as hard as you can on those suckers!

that cable and clasp/clamps do tend to slip if removed to many times, you can switch the lever on the heater hose to full heat since it is winter so it cannt hurt to much.LOL with the motor warmed up you should be able to feel those heater hoses and feel if both are warm, if not move the lever the other way and see if it gets warm then. if it doesnt get warm still then its posible your heater core is clogged up and has to be replaced....

There are little barbs in the clips that should grab the cable housing tight. If the housing is all chewed up from excessive slipping you may need to replace it, or rig something with cable ties like Addiction suggested.

Thanks guys! It was the controller (the fader that on the dash fades from red to blue / heat to cool).

I popped the hood like you suggested and found the lever and did it manually. Now I have heat coming out! I wish I tried that BEFORE driving to work today! Would have had a MUCH more comfortable drive!!!

Thank you guys SO MUCH!
