New owner of a 2000 Honda Civic DX coupe
Hi,
As the title says I am the new owner of a 2000 honda civic dx coupe 4 cyl. 106-hp, 1.6-liter 5spd. It was formerly my grandmother's and has ~79K miles. Right now I am getting ~350 miles to the tank. It is bone stock with roll-down windows, no A/C, only AM/FM radio. I have a couple of questions for those who are willing to answer:
- What modifications can I make, if any, to increase performance with as little impact as possible on fuel economy?
- Is it worth it to install an A/C unit on my own, pay for it to be installed, or forget it altogether?
I have some more questions, but I will wait until I can upload some photos so my questions will make sense.
Thanks,
Ben
