Default Oil Leak from Oil Pan?

Hey guys. Im a new honda owner and i just purchased a standard 2003 Honda Civic. There is an oil leak from the pan i believe but if I'm not mistaken, it is leaking from the seal of the pan to the engine? Ive attached two pictures so you anyone can take a look. Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful. Id rather do this before taking it into a mechanic first

are you sure its not coming from the cam seal because those always fail on honda's. i would degrease and clean the engine to find out exactly where its coming from before you start throwing money at it.

Took it to a mechanic to be looked at. Said cam and crank seals needed to be replaced but that would then cause the timing belt to be replaced since oil would then be on the timing belt. Is this common?

well technically no you could just degrease the belt but if your car has never had the timing belt replaced then yes its a high priority there only good for 100,000 miles or 5 years. so if the valve cover is coming off it mite as well be done at the same time along with a new water pump. if the timing belt breaks or skips a tooth your engine will be destroyed.
