I'm posting this to see if anyone else has had this problem. Out of nowhere my check engine light came on on my 2001 Honda Civic and it wouldn't let me rev up past 3000 RPMs. Went home I pulled the code and it had something to do with my oil pressure solenoid switch. I can't remember the exact code. So I cleared the code and it hasn't come back since and it's been about 2 months. Has this happened to anyone else or has it happened to somebody and they've had to change out to that solenoid right next to the valve cover? I know it's located next to the valve cover to the left more towards the air intake assembly.
