Default Power Loss and Shuttering

I've got a 99 EX. At idle it runs fine. At high RPMs it runs fine too. If I am below 2000 RPM and get into the throttle it starts to shake back and forth and the CEL starts flashing. If I shift into a higher gear it returns to operating fine and the CEL is gone. I'm thinking MAP sensor?

Pull the trouble code and post it.

You can either take it to a parts store and have them scan it (AutoZone, O'riely do this for free) or jump the green 2 wire service connector under the passenger kick panel.

Sweet, thanks. I'll still take more opinions.

I'm betting it's going to be a misfire code because you have weak spark. How old are your plugs, wires, cap and rotor?

K, I pulled the code. It's P1399. Also today my CEL came on and stayed on and it's shuttering alot more.

So I R2'd the spark plugs. I noticed #4 spark plug wire was sticking out a little bit. When I went to put the wires back on #4 wouldn't click in. CEL is gone and I think I may just order some new wires unless there's a way to adjust them.
