Rear alignment problem - HELP
I have a 1998 Civic LX. I had my local shop do an alignment. They told me that they could do the front, but the rear was a problem. It seems that the two bolts that need loosening to align the rear end up were rusted tight. They were afraid that the bolts would snap off. They said remove the rear seat where I could get to the nuts a spray them with penetrating oil. Well, you can't get to the nuts that way I found out. They are not sure what to do. Can I remove them and put new bolts in? No one seems to know if there are nuts behind the metal or is the metal just threaded. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

I had the same problem. have the shop spray some pentrating fluid on them and bring it back within a couple of days. that got them lose. I don't know what they are doing asking you to spray it. they ought to do it themselves.

You can buy a camber kit for the rear at the dealer or get one from the aftermarket arena. I had get one when I got tapped on the rear wheel. Some people get longer bolts with some washers to get the camber within specs. With the rusted bolts, use pb blaster.
