yea thats what i did. but heres the thing. i got one from autozone. the first one they gave me fit really really tight. i could barely put it on the alt pulley and the other 3-pulley. so i figured it was the wrong one. so i go back this morning and get a new one. but this thing is super loose. and i have the alternator all the way pushed back, where it cant tighten anymore. and it feels really loose. do alternator belts differ with ac or without ac?

Ask if they have one in between the two sizes. You probably don't have the stock crank pulley for a 1992 now, so it's going to be a different belt. The alternator is the same with or without A/C.

yea. the stock one was 305. returned that one and they gave me the 315, which was to big. but the 310 did the job. thanks again mk378

i just noticed that one of the belts makes kind of a flapping noise. seems to be the timing belt. what cause that
