Roaring sound 2003 si 5speed 138k

Default Roaring sound 2003 si 5speed 138k

At 40+mph, my car sounds like an airplane taking off. Its a loud roaring sound. New tires are on car. i dont think its a wheel bearings.

Well, have you checked the bearings? raise up vehicle, grab tire at 12 and 6 and try to make it move. Should be tight with no movement whatsoever. Might as well try hands at 3 and 9 while the car is up in the air, too

drive in a figure 8, does the noise change sides, or goes away during left/right turns?

thanks for responding..did do a bunch of lane changes and listen for any change..nothing..ultimately took it to honda...driver wheel bearing...quiet after repair.
