1995 civic ex dead wont start ?

Default 1995 civic ex dead wont start ?

I just came from work few minutes ago car was running perfectly fine. Try to go back to the store and nothing happens, turn the key all lights turn on but no crank, we push start and all works great but wont crank with the key ?
PLEASE HELP ME I NEED THE CAR FOR WORK !

When this happens suddenly, it's often because the rubber pad for the clutch pedal interlock switch has broken and fallen out, so the car thinks that you're not pressing the clutch and refuses to start. Bad starters usually give some warning by going through a phase of "click but doesn't start".

This happened to me when I first bought my 93. My brother kepts saying it was the starter and I said no way because one minute it worked perfectly and the next minute, nothing - like mk said.

Actually, I do not think the pad was broken on mine. Actually, what fixed mine (for some weird reason) was unsuccessfully popping the clutch when trying to push the car myself on a flat surface! lol. I was trying to do it in reverse, but couldn't get enough speed. It moved the motor just a bit and then viola - it worked fine.
