Default Code 6

Ok guys i tryed and tryed to figure this out and researched and got no where. So i know what code 6 is but how do i fix it and my rad fan isn't coming on and i think my thermastat is stuck open. but i did b18c1 swap into my 93 del s. so i have come to discover that i got 2 wires that are just there but you power and ground turns on my fan but my fan is hooked up where it is suppose to be so im guessing the wires have to go to a sensor but where, and im not sure if my temp sensor is wired right. i tryed hooking up the 2 wires to the temp sensor but the fan runs all the time when i turn the key. I just need help cause the code is making me run rich and vtec isnt working right and i have a chipped and socketed ecu and still not helping

On a D16 the sensor for the ECU is in the end of the head under the distributor. Not sure about the B18. The sensor on the thermostat just controls the fan; it will not cause an ECU code.

the coolent temp sensor is on the thermistate housing and that is what runs my fan correct? and i hook my fan wires that are hanging there to that plug should get rid of my code 6?

The fan circuit has nothing to do with code 6. The ECU only cares about the sensor in the head. It's the sensor with two wires. The one next to it with one wire drives the temperature gauge on the dash; it is not connected to the ECU.
