I was looking at my plug wires since I was thinking about taking the valve cover off to do a mod.

Looking in my Haynes Repair Manual, it makes it look like the plugs wires are supposed to connect to the cap in a clock-wise manner, but its kinda vague and I can't see for sure. Are these connected properly? I just bought the car, so I haven't done anything to them yet.



I've searched and looked online, and I can't find a definative answer.

Looks to me like they're all set. I believe that if they were wrong, you'd be misfiring. (someone want to back me up or contradict me on this?)

 

^^^^Yeh, if your engine runs smooth, you're good to go. If they were hooked up wrong, you would have one awful sounding, rough idling engine.

Who cares what color they are. As long as theyre MSD or Nology wires.

 

try to switch two of em, then you will know what it will act like when its wrong.

 

I could smack myself in the face with a hammer too, just so I know what that feels like... but I'll pass on both.
