I have a 2002 Honda Civic Lx Sedan w/ a 5 speed trans. The other day I was driving on the freeway and my check engine light came on and my car went into limp mode. I came up with a P1361 which after reading through some forums I have determined is gonna be a camshaft sensor. I have not replaced the sensor yet but my check engine light went off and the car runs fine except for this strange idle. When my car is idleing everything is normal, but if I tap the gas pedal and release it my idle jumps up to about 1300rpm and stays there for about 10 seconds even though I have released the gas pedal. Are these problems related? Any info would be appreciated.
