Last year my wife and I noticed a popping and "basket ball dribbling" noise when we went over bumps and rough surfaces. I started chasing the problem and replaced control arms, tie rod ends, and struts.
The problem went away for a few months but then returned. It has steadily gotten worse as has our alignment. I chased it down again and it seems to be the passenger side front strut mount. The strut shaft moves up through the bushing in the mount and moves side to side (tested this theory with jack stands and a jack) The new struts I installed were Monroe Quick Struts. Apparently there is not a replacement mount available for them. Anyone have any suggestions??
Anyone had this problem before?? What about those after market strut mounts w/ adjustable camber?
