Substituding wheel lock with regular lug nut
I have a question. Recently I discovered one of my wheel lock (the one that needs the special wrench thingy to take off) is missing. This was either misplaced by the last oil change place or somehow it fell off (not sure if that's possible). Anyways, I'm just wondering if it's ok to just replace it with a regular lug nut that's specific to my viehcle. I'm driving a 2004 civic coup. I've bought one from a Honda dealer and after putting it on it's sticking out a bit (but then again the other 3 wheel locks are also sticking out a bit). I'm just wondering if it's safe to drive like this. Thanks

As long as it is seated against the wheel properly it should be fine. Assuming the fact that you bought the lug-nut at the dealer, you still have stock wheels.
Wheel locks are just lug-nuts with a lock pattern on them. Functionally for holding on a wheel they are exactly the same.
