swap problems
Hello I'm new to the forum and have a couple questions for someone I have a 1994 honda civic dx and it had a d15b7 in it originally but now it has a d15b2 in it and I have done the mpfi swap the only thing that I have changed was the mpfi and it is running but only on 2 cylinder and obviously only 2 injectors as I checked the harness and dizzy are from the b7 just wondering if anyone had any input on how to get the other 2 injector working and almost forgot the timing is on but the dizzy isn't and the timing belt is slipping off the pulley

I'm confused by what you're saying, because a 94 DX was MPFI all along.
You should be using all of the original parts from the '94 except for the engine block and head. Take the old intake manifold off and a D15B2 will bolt in exactly instead of a D15B7. The exhaust is the same as the 88 to 91 the D15B2 was used in, except that you need a 4-wire O2 sensor.
If the timing belt is trying to come off, you either don't have the tension set correctly, or are missing the guide plates on either side of the crank sprocket. They go on so they curve away from the timing belt.
Once you have the timing straightened out, if it still doesn't run right my first thought would be that your new engine is defective. Test the compression. Another way to cause an engine to run on 2 cylinders is to reverse two of the spark plug wires. The order is 1-3-4-2.

Ok sorry yes I've use everything that originaly on the vehicle and I found out today that when I checked the ground jumper for the injectors the thrid prong had burnt electrical marks so I cut the ground jumper off and splice them together and grounded them I haven't had time to see if that's the problem but will uppdate in the morning

Yea I was just wondering if I needed a diiferent 4 wire and I cut that grounding jumper and grounded them but now my ecu fuse is popping every time I put a new one in but they only blow when I grouned, ungrounded runs but still only on two cylinders and belt pretty lose but tight when not running I'm stumped been workin on this car for too long

What "grounding jumper"? The only things that are supposed to be grounded on the engine are the big wire to the battery minus (actually it attaches to the transmission not the engine), the smaller wire from the valve cover to the frame near the left headlight, and two or three small ECU ground wires on the thermostat housing.
Have you checked the compression and the firing order yet?

There's a grounding jumper off from the injectors the yellow/black stripe wires someone told me it was a ground jumper at the end of the plug it goes to nothing just the jumper and firing order is good haven't yet checked compression but I will let u kno

Yellow / black wires are power. Don't ground them. The plug thing is to split the power to the 4 injectors and various other places. All the yellow / black wires should be connected to each other but not to ground.

I need Help and suggestions on This Swap. I currently bought a 1990 civic wagon dx with a d15b2 automatic.. Unfortunately last week the car started making noises, not starting, i took the car to the shop, and they told that 2 cylinder are low on compressions. most likely the motor is running on only two cylinders. and something else about the head gasket.
Yesterday, i found a D15b7 motor out of a 92 civic coupe for $300. Block And head. no dizzy, no intake manifold, no harness, no ecu.. Now my Questions are If I can Swap The b7 motor Using all the alternatives part from the b2??
This car is not for racing or any project or nothing, all i want is to have it running..
HElP PLEASE!!!
