Default Throttle Position Sensor

I have just one code P0122. At this time it has hesitation accelerating and it shifts funny, but not to bad with the two. It's completely driveable. Is there anything else that I should look into before attempting to change the TPS? I have read that they have cut away bolts or something like that where you just grind a slot on the head and remove the bolt. Other places said that it's not removable and is part of the TB itself. Which one is correct. If it can be removed how do you re-calibrate it or whatever once its replaced. I read that it has to have a certain voltage or resistance once replaced. I do have a scanner that can graph the sensors output to see if its erratic or something. It reads percent.

Thank-You
