Default TPS question

hey my throttle position sensor is bad and i was wondering if anyone could tell me why its not bolted on it looks like rivets or something
are you supposed to drill the rivets or whatever or do you have to replace the whole throttle body? if so why would honda make it like this

If it has rivets it's most likely sold as a throttle body. The reason why, I don't know. Just another genius idea from the car manufacturers.

as i recall, the manual says to drill them out - crazy a$$ idea if you ask me.
have to take the throttle body off , of course.
