turn key no start
#2
First turn the headlights on, make sure they stay on while you try to start. If they go out, the whole car is losing power from the battery. It's either the battery itself being run down or faulty, or bad connections of the big battery cables.
Check the switch on the clutch pedal arm at the very top, especially the rubber pad that presses the swtich (it's the same as the one on the brake pedal). If that pad falls apart the switch won't get pressed and the starter won't work.
Also you can go under the hood and jump the small terminal on the starter to battery +, this should make the starter turn to test that the battery and starter are OK. Be sure the key is off and the transmission is in neutral when you do that.
