What do I check next?
97 Civic Sedan 1.6 Auto
Installed a 98 transmission.
Everything seemed fine, so took it for a test drive.
Got up to about 60 and it sounded like something broke loose and it died.
The starter didn't want to turn it over until I used a crowbar on the torque converter and freed it up except there seems to be two spots in the rotation where it is hard to move.
The starter turns it over easily now, and I have fire and fuel, but it will not even try to start.
Checked the timing belt and it is not worn or loose.
Help!!!!, Alan

It shouldn't surprise any of you that I was wrong.
The spark plugs were wet but it evidently was not fuel.
Questions-
With the key in the on position, should I hear the fuel pump?
Does the engine need to be running in order to get any useful information from an OBD?
