ok so yesterday i was at the local shop and they told me they could get me a b16a with a tranny for 1700 installed ... so im debating if i should go for the h22 which is like a few hundred cheaper but at the same time i would have to install the h22 ...

Depending where you live, if you want any hope of passing emissions testing you need to get a OBD2 motor (96-00)

you can make it work with something older, but just save up the $$ and do it properly the first time

If you live in california, then NO.

motor has to be from the same year as your car, or NEWER.

Start researching....

the engine has to run really clean (thats why the new engine is better), they suggest factory exhaust/intake, also, you will need an obd1to obd2 conversion harness i belive.
