Hi names Adrian. I just got my license and my sister's old civic.she now has a 2006 civic ex. Now, I have a 1997 Honda civic ex coupe, all stock. I am in highschool and 16yrs old so budget is mos def a problem. I want my car to have at least 50-70 hp gain ; I need sugestioins and remember this is a tight budget. I want to drop my car 1.5 and get 15"or16" rims. My car is red so any suggestions? THINK LOW BUDGET HERE. .btw i kept this car clean since we got it 2 yrs ago. =D.THANKS

 

hey whats goin on man. i would suggest going with the suspension and rims first. for suspension look into h & r sport springs. you will need new struts so look around the web and stick with the name brands like kyb. for rims i would look into getting some black rota slipstreams.

50-70hp gain, a drop, and new rims isn't going to happen on a tight budget. Best I can say for that would be that you can pickup some 15" Si rims for around $150-200 with tires. If you want a big gain like 50-70 then I would say get a turbo but that costs about $2,000 after its all said and done. The drop would be a few more Benjamin's.

ok well i want that 50-70 hp gain no matter what so I am looking for best prcies. I am on low budget but i can save up pretty fast and yeah. I am lookingforward ot a long project car. Since i dont get my rsx till im in college. thats my deal wiht my rents. I get old civic i fix it up i keeep it but when i go to college thye buy me brand new car and im looking into RSX.
