1999 Civic sedan pulls and wanders to left
I just bought 99 Civic with only 32k original mi. Real nice shape, oil changed every 2k on Carfax (if you can believe that!) My only issue is a wander to the left at any speed, and a pull to the left from the line if it is nudged. I see there are 4 or more TSB's on this issue, but I have not been able to get past the preview. Anybody got any ideas, so I can have the dealer fix this? It gets old real fast having to constantly correct to the right.

pressure can make a big difference too....but it would have to be off by like 5 psi to wonder at any speed...my guess is the alingment. this may sound stupid, but make sure you have the same kind/size of tires at all 4 corners....i figure you prolly do, but i have seen it done on like, "beater" cars.

Thanks to all who replied. I have 4 Yokohama tires that seem to be fairly new, all the same size. After reading the owners manual, I set the fronts to 29.5 psi and the rear to 28.5 psi. Manual says 30 front and 29 rear. I'm taking it back to dealer who sold me the car, I've got a 30 day warranty, I'll try and squeeze an alignment out of it.
Thanks,
Bob

If that doesn't fix it then post back because I was reading my haynes manual and saw that there can be a few reasons that it does that, if the aliagnment doesn't fix it then I will post the list of what could be wrong. I would post it now but the manual is out in my car and I'm too lazy to go out and get it right now.

FYI....check the sidewalls of your tires first....if they arent stock, the psi in owners manual doesnt count. I just looked at mine yesterday, same as the numbers u posted, but my tires said max 35 reccomended 33, little did i kno the previous owner got some thicker tires...............after adding the 4 psi to each tire, the gas milege is fairly better, and the ride is more comfortable...so def check that ouuttttt

Knarley....I'm in the information Kiosk at the Mazda dealer that sold me the Civic, and they found an issue with the alignment, on the left side. Covered under warranty. Onto my next issue now, thanks to everyone who replied.
