Hi, im a newbie at this and i need some help on my sunroof. I just purchased a2000 civic ex and the sunroof doesnt work. Iwas just wondering if i can replace it with a 2000 civic si sunroof. Would it be a perfect fit? any help will do thanks!

 

ya it should fit.... but you dont need to replace the whole thing... just the motor.... BUT FIRST... have you checked all the fuses? i would check the motor wires before you buy anything..... it could just be a blown fuse, or bad relay, or maybe even just a bad switch....

BUT if the sunroof is stuck open you do know you can use a tool to close it if its cracked open and leaking on ya. tho ive never had to do it myself but i did read in the manual you can just turn it to open or close it if the motor stops working...
