Default 2000 honda civic EX; I think I blew my engine out:( help!

My 2000 Honda Civic EX overheated while I was driving. I didn't realize this until my car started smoking. I pulled over and there was coolant leaking out of the bottom of the car. I tried to put water in it and it came right out from the bottom, and now im guessing there is a crack somewhere, and I was told I may have blew my engine.
When I tried to start my car, it didn't turn on. Now there is just a clicking noise. Can somebody tell me my best options. Im a female and my boyfriend doesnt know **** about cars. Ugh!

Go to a shop.

You need to conduct a compression test and see if you need to pull everything apart for a rebuild, or replace.

Did you shut the vehicle off when you saw steam, or did you see steam after the engine cut off while driving?

Where is it leaking from? It's more likely that the engine overheated from a coolant leak rather than the engine overheating randomly and cracking then causing a coolant leak.
