well the exhaust was the stock one off of my dads 4dr 99. it had a hole in it right before the muffler and i tried to wrap it with one of those 1.99 wraps.....well....as you can see that is a bunch of crap!! it all melted and i guess burnt away so that was falling off after like a few weeks. so i used that as a way to get money out of daddy! he got a nice sounding stock muffler and then i got what i wanted so... i was pretty happy with that. but i used a high heat paint for my heat shield. i have had it on there for about a month or so and it still looks new. i think the paint was from walmart but idk i got it from a buddy of mine who did his with it too. i think it cleans the engine bay up a little more. but the paint was a high heat engine paint that will last up to a certain degree. so it is lasting so far. i just need it to last until i can afford headers. thanks for yalls help and hopefully i can be help to yall too.

I have the same exhaust, sounds nice doesn't it? Although if you live someplace where they salt the roads a lot, I have one piece of advice for you: CAR WASH, or yours might suffer the same fate mine did (took 5 years, but still). Anyway, looks like you're off to a good start. Welcome!
