2005 Civic Lowering help..
Hello a New Honda owner here..
I just julled my 05 Civic off the lot 5 miles on it I am looking to lower it.
My question, 225/40-18 wheels and tires. Will a 2" Drop fit this application ok??
I got the Tein 2" springs already. The rims and tires are next 17" or 18"???
The 18s look sweet on the Civics Please let me know what you think...
Thanks Scott

2" drop will definately work and TEIN is a great company. If your going for looks then get the 18's, if you want a somewhat performance side to it then go 17". I'd stick with 17"s personally.

I see a trend here and I think now I have to go with the 17s
The 18s just look sweet and stuff...
Yes Daily driver, I put about 1000 miles a week on my cars. (new car and my Mazda PU will share the milage) My commute is 92miles each way everyday 5-6 days a week...

yeah, get the 17s, especially if its a commuter, it will help the gas mileage over the 18s a lot. and from the screen name you have, im betting this isnt the torquiest car you drive. so you will not enjoy driving it with the heavy *** 18s. and a 2" drop on 18s might be enough to rub.
