I can think of a few reasons...

 

It's a blue Hatchback with blue interior. I don't know about the motor size. You would have to tell me what to look for and I could tell you then. But it is a base model Honda. Runs great though and get's almost 40mph. That is why I have it, LOL. Can run for ever on a tank of gas. It goes over 400 miles before filling up. I really want to keep it, but I also want to go back to an Explorer. Right now I have $3,500 in it. It's never been wrecked or anything and no rust anywhere. Really a clean little car. But I am 49 and it is a little hard for me to get in and out of. But once I am in it, man it's a blast to drive.

 

is it a dx?..im gunna say its a D15b2...does it look like my car?...the motor number is on the block just below the head on the pasenger side...there will be a flat spot and you may have to wipe the grime off to see it.

by the way..you will lose money if u sell it...i dont think many ppl are guna be up to payin 3500 for a stock 91 no matter how good of cond..sorry to say...

 

Yeah you're definetly gona want to swap that engine out.


And if you're lookin for the engine code, it should be stamped into the block somewhere. Check to the left of the header.

if your 49 and have trouble getting in and out, get a set of 16 or 17 inch wheels for it. they will give you better handling and raise the car about an inch, even with lower profile tires. and if your not planning on doing much but commuting, keep that pristine little motor right where it is. maybe get an intake system like most of us have on our cars. itll give it a little more pep, a little more fuel economy, and a little more of a growl. but it wont be too loud.

 

There is already a few kids around here wanting it. It won't go anywhere for less. As far as swapping motors out, no way. Will stay just like she is. At 40mpg, she will pay for her keep in no time at all. It's almost like a new car. Certainly can't find many now a days with that gas mileage, that cheap. Yes, it looks just like that blue one in the picture. It is not a DX model. I will tint the windows down and put on some tires and wheels and go with it. The insurance on it is only 30 a month so it's not hurting anything. But some day, some where, some one will just have to have that vehicle. Especially if gas goes up again to 2 or 3 bucks a gallon, LOL.

 

oh yeah, get a good alarm and have it professionally installed. its sad to say, but this sport/culture invites a lot of theft. if you dont have an alarm, its only a matter of time till someone rips you off. ive lost stereo equiptment, and my bro and a BUNCH of my friends have lost their whole cars.

 

I will definately put a Viper on it when I get started. Right now she just sits in the garage looking pretty and awaiting a turn of the key. I must admit, this is one of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. When the $35,000 car won't start, this baby is more than ready and able to go. Dependability is something you can't put a price tag on. Well you can, but it's tough, LOL.
