Hey guys i made this poll because i have a 93 Hatch Si wil slight engine mods but i need a new engine and it not worth buying a b16 when a 99 Si already has one so. Who thinks I should stay with the Hatch Si and work on it OR sell it and go buy a 99 Si and work on that.

yeah, ive driven both, the 00 has more power out of the box, but the hatch is smaller and a little lighter. then again the 00 comes with more options. yeah, id say toss up. but you already have the 93, so i'd stick with it.

 

I have a 00 civic right now pretty much its a great ride as long as you dont mind looking over your shoulder. If you park it out side get an alarm or atleast put in a kill switch then hide the switch then you have to move were your cable joint is under your drivers side wheel well cause thats how theives pop it but im just rambling. If you have a hatch why not put a B18c5 into it. it will be light and be very quik be any turbo/super charger is added

 

if youre going turbo/super, dont bother with the b18c5. for the extra money you pay, its not that great for boost. get a gsr or b16a. you pay for the high compression on a C5, and thats the enemy of boost. it could work out ok, but the money is better spent elsewhere.

 

Alright ive been think about butting a CRV motor in my car just because of all that tork... What do you think?

 

fun as hell. a friend used to have one with a CRX, it'd be great with a turbo. mmmm.
