Well i just started tuning my orange 95 dx. i want to build it as uch as possible. i've already ordered new fenders, hood and front bumper. but i'm just starting

 

engine build or exterior build?

 

both. i just was in a wreck a couple weeks ago so the exterior build got a jump start lol. but i also want to build the engine. I'm moving the battery to the trunk and I want to lose as much weight as possible. i posted a question about losing the A/c. I know it gave a friend of mine a boost in his escort. i already got rid of the power steering. and installed new exhaust. for pics. ( http://myspace.com/irollorangefire )

 

is it going to be a daily driver??? cause if it is that power steering is gonna be a tough one to lose through alot of turns buddy =P is your engine a D16Z6? or is it something else?

 

i actually like how responsive it is now that the power steering is gone. and its a 1.5L 16 valve if that helps (i don't know the code )

 

Its a D15z something... I just looked it up. You should motor swap if you want some speed so you can have a decent motor with a pretty good bit of horsepower already. Then go pwn some noobs ^_^

 

lol. yea i already beat the crap out of the kid with a vw si. that was him just not knowing how to drive. i'm prolly gonna buy a 1.6 vtec off of a friend of mine who races dirt track. he has 3 or four litterally laying around. they'll need a little work, but hell its better than what i have. i'm gonna just take the compressor off i think and put the second fan on a switch. i'll just need to figure out a belt to use. ehh.

 

my 95 dx coupe doesnt have power steering, i just thought they didnt come with it.
