Default Advice for a newb

Hey all, I recently bought a 99 civic 5spd LX after wrecking a 92 Nissan 240sx (RIP). The 240 was a sweet ride and I loved rear wheel but the civic is just amazing. My buddy who is big into aftermarket performance got me to buy a KnN Intake and filter and it works great. The intake isnt fit perfectly to the intake manifold ( I guess it dosnet fit perfect with the LX model) but the seal should be air tight. Anyways I'm looking for ideas of what to do for the civic. I havent thought of a price budget yet but was looking for a plan before I start to buy anything. So if anyone has any ideas just let me know. Nice to be here guys and thanks for your time.

Thanks man. Yea I was thinking of getting an engine swap to the b18 or an h22 and maybe throw a turbo on it. I was told to get the swap first before I do anything else to the car but its still a while away. Need to save some money first. ANy idea on the engines? Thanks

no. if your going to swap then hold off on the header. imo go with the b18 and turbo it. you might run into alot of fitment issues if you drop the h22 in there. check out our mod forums we have some seriouse people that will give you great advice.

and welcome to hcf.

Welcome to the forum!!!!!

If you are swapping, don't buy anything, save the money and swap first.
