Default ANOTHER NEW GUY

Checking in for roll call.........I got a 91 CRX exclusively for drag racing. It has been an n/a all motor car but I'm changing it to a b16a turbo drag racing devil.

The car in N/A form was running high 11s, low 12s.........as we speak I´m in the process of installing the b16 turbo which is tuned on 91 octane pump gas and it´s at 330 whp. the internals are forged and ready for more boost but I want to try it in this form first, as the tuner assures me that I should be running low 10s with this motor in the crx that weighs in at 1400 lbs. he also tells me that with high octane racing fuel I can expect 500+ hp from the motor.

Here are the pics of the b16 turbo placed in the donor car I bought just to tune it in florida. By the way, I´m in Honduras, Central America.

nice, make sure you let us know when you install it in the crx, Its probably going to look real good.

nice ride. how much did ya spend on the whole setup, im looking to get into the drag scene too so im doing my Hw.

well.....as far as $ goes. the 99 civic HB with the b16 cost $2500. the building of the motor with the tuning included is another $10500. so, you're looking at about $13000. the crx as it is lightened and suspension and wheels and a couple of other gadgets around $10,000 more. Total = aprox. $ 21,000 with that motor in the crx in the states. Here I paid a little more as I had to pay the shipping and import taxes
