what's up guys I just bought a 93 EX auto and I was wondering if it was normal for the trans to take more time than other auto civicsor cars in general I have driven. even when Im driving slow it seems like the car wants me to step on the gas for it to rev up to like 6kto shift and when it does shift it feels like a manual b/c of the time it takes to shift...

the only mods I can see the engine has are the dist cap and rotor and it has headers.

the engine is a D15b2 that is not the original I was told it had about 40k but you can hear the valves ticking and it burns and leaks about a quar of oil in like a week or two, and there is a scratching noise when reving down.

any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance
