back to honda after 16 yrs...
I just bought a 2002 civic cpe EX 5sp with 45Kmi , for fuel economy and so i can feel better about how i'm treating the planet. As soon as I got in, i felt that awesome feeling i had when i used own an 88 accord 5sp.
There is no better driving experience for me than a honda 4cyl with a close ratio honda 5sp!!!
I averaged an incredible 34mpg driving 78 mph for 17hrs (over two days). I bought it in boca raton and drove home to louisville ky area. I got 36mpg going 70mph so i expect to get
35 going to work with the mostly highway at 60mph.
I am pumped. I also drive a 2003 toyota tundra that gets 17mpg; so i was feeling guilty. Then I saw this car for $7K and figured up it would save me $5K in fuel costs over using the truck over the next 3 yrs. And then it'll still have a residual value of 5K with 75K miles and the fuel prices in 3 yrs. I make $3000 dollars on the whole deal. Doesn't get much better than that.
Love this honda. And this link has been very useful lately, as a source for manuals on it;

nice to meet everybody.
