Default Belgium -> [TWA] Da Hobit's Rush

Hi guy's
My name is Van der Hoeven Ivo , i live in Belgium
I drive a daily Honda Civic '96 HB VTI , and my tuning project is a Honda Civic '96 HB 1.4
actually my tuning project has growth out of proportions ... :-)
because pics say more than words :
the beginning ( Stage 1 )

the mini make-over ( Stage 2 )

the extreme make over ( Stage 3 )
at the beginning i didnt had the intention to change things ... just putting some ice in the car , you now
simple ice setup ... some amps , some woofers etc ...
but then you begin to think ...
a fiberglass floor would be nice , and custom build door panels , and a custom build dash
and oh yeah , the backseats -> unnecessary
and so it REALLY began !

like i said before , i didnt had the intention to change other things than the ice install ... wrong !

what are we doing ?
- complete custom build real Wide Body ( fenders , front bumper , rear bumper , side-skirts )
- front light conversion ( non honda model )
- tail lights conversion ( Hella led lights )
- intake manifold conversion
- complete Turbo set-up
- cleaned engine bay
- a few chrome engine details
- complete new paint
- custom build dashboard
- custom build door panels
- fiberglass floor
- air suspension
and lots and lots more ... actually , the ONLY thing that i'm going to re-use from Stage 2 are the exhausts !

enough with the chit-chat !
pics :
this is my partner in crime Dave

he's one of the fiberglass-maniacs
this is me

thanks guy's !

i don't build the project alone. it's my car , it's my money
but i have e few 'specialist' friends who are the real masters !

Steven ( alias 'The Magic' ) is the guy who does all the welding,
he also helps with the fiberglass , grinding and is the true master when it comes to painting !
Dave is the fiberglassguy :-) ICE , exteriour , also creative brain
Kenny ( allias Razer ) is the electronics / engine department !
everything that involves electronics , air suspension , turbo , or engine components ... he's the man !
Hondapeet is also electronics / engine department , especially rewiring ECU's , cable harness , Multipoint conversion
etc.. ( very handy because i have a D14A4 engine with a D16Z9 intake manifold and turbo setup )
Ivo ( alias Da Hobit ) -> creative brain , paying bills and i help everywhere where i can
so .. that's our team

next part - the engine workz ( still busy )
the beginning :

after a day's work:

next ?
Engine
the engine before we lay our hands on ( already cleaned up )

everything sealed

then we went to the local 'beach'

tape abuse:

then we started sandblasting the engine ( see the difference )

Gearbox

this is the way the gearbox looked before we lay our hands on

After some cleaning :

then , the next step , everything sealed

second stage @ the beach :-)

sandblasting the gearbox

is this a joke? sparkle paint with more stickers than parts, and about 50 lbs. of fiberglass? i'm not trying to be hateful, but a lot of people won't like this type of thing on this forum. i mean, come on, four exhaust tips larger than the motor itself, skittle colored engine?
