different civics
I am interested in a 2006 or 2007 honda civic si. Went to a honda dealership to see what they had on the lot. I saw that they were selling the 2007 honda civic si for about 22,005. on top of that they wanted to add 3,000 over msrp. wanted to know the difference between the 2006 and 2007 honda civic si??

hey, welcome to the forum. I'm a Honda salesman actually and i could help you out. There's no difference between the 06 and the 07. Only difference is that the 07 SI comes in a 4 door now.. Honda sells every car for 2-3k over msrp because they don't make as many cars per year as lets say, toyota. So they have to make up for it by selling at a rediculous mark-up. If you talk them down they'll give it to you for msrp. But if they don't wanna let it go that easy, they'll give it to you for $1,000 over msrp or even $2,000 over. You just have to get them at a good time for them, or whenever they're desperate to sell a car

And thats the thing. With the 8th Gen Si, its a sellers market. It might be hard to talk them down because there are other idiots that will buy it for that and they shouldnt have a problem selling that car. Its retards like that who cause it to be a sellers market in regards to the new Si.
