Default Domestic going Import

That's right the name says it all. I currently own a 2006 Saturn ION2 sedan (proud to say) with a few cosmetic mods. Didn't want to void my warranty so I went out looking for a project car. Something that was cheap to build, fun to both play with and drive, and something that has everything imaginable made for it. My sister currently owns a broke down (been sitting for a while) 1991 Honda Civic (not sure exactly what model) sedan. The car needs pretty much everything either replace or rebuilt and figured that it would make a great beginner project car. I know it has the D15B2 engine and what the power rating was when it was new. I'm looking to do some minor engine mods, other then a complete engine and tranny rebuild, and a few body and interior mods for now. Since I'm going to school cann't afford that much right now. Anyways, get ready for another newbie to be asking a bunch of stupid questions and lots of them. I do belong to a Saturn forum and the people there are both great and fun. Hope the Civic forum is just the same. Thanks for lettig me join and sorry for the long post.

Long post? You should see my first post! Yours was short and to th point in comparison!

I, too, come from a different "ancestral" background, but the Civic is a light unto itself--an amazing car, and there are some amazing people involved with it. Just going through this forum, I'm impressed.

Sounds like a great project car--I've got a project car going, too. This should be an interesting adventure! Good luck!
