just bought a spring/strut and coilover kit from ebay. the coilover set came in a DZone box but the springs did not have Dropzone written on them and it came with a blue rubber top bushing. Any ideas? thanks guys

Yeah, where's the link to the auction. Or the seller's name so we can look it up. Did the auction say Dropzone "style" anywhere, even once?

 

I know ebay is selling fake Tien springs, they showed real next to fake.
The real springs were painted Tien on them while the fake had a sticker on them.
Now im not saying yours are fake but you have to careful what you buy.
I got this infor from Super street mag.

 

Welcome to HCF!!!You need to watch yourself with ebay. There are people out there who will sell you oem shocks and call them Tein. If the price looks to good to be true...It probably isn't. Try and find a reputable seller and ask them questions before you buy.

i did call DZone, they stated some coilover kits were this way. another guy i found on ebay stated he got the same thing. the seller stated he hasnt gotten to changing the picture yet. personally i think i got a cheap coilover set in a Dzone box.........thanks guys

 

Well, not to knock Dropzone, but their kits are normally on the cheap end. They work though, so it doesn't much matter. That sucks that he didn't send you the pictured items. I hate that. Well, good luck on the install!

 

i have bought somethin from that seller before....i cant remmeber what, but everything was in order, good shiipping, packaging, and product (cant rememeber what it is though) so i doubt hes tryin to screw you............get some b4 and after pics of the install though!!! welcome

i mailed another buyer of the same kit and he got the same thing. We were told basically the same thing, some kits are different depending on the car and rub/noise factor. I still feel robbed, should have DZ on them. Thanks for the welcome R35P3KT. I will have the pics in my ALBUM folder, project on hold for a few days.
