Default finally ready to tune

i own a 2000 civic ex. I finally have a new job with enough extra cash to spend on my car. i have been researching for awhile and i know the exhaust is the first place to start. my question is where to go after that should i build up the engine first or go with a turbo or supercharger. im looking for this to be a daily driver but also have the kick when i need it. plz help what should i do?

hi and welcome to HCF. the exhaust system is a great place to start. are u looking at a full system from the manifold back or just a cat back system. then i would suggest getting a cold air intake with high flow filter. look at changing your spark plugs and leads too. all of these are fairly cheap and quick and easy to install. both turbos and superchargers have their strengths and weaknesses so do some research as to what you really want b4 u commit to anything. hope that helps.

If you are sure you are going to put a turbo on it, don't buy a header or an intake, get a catback exhaust and save your money for the turbo and a tune.
